Northwestern State University has several spirit groups that play a vital part in keeping the energy at its highest at campus events, as well as functions held in the Natchitoches community. The audition process will allow you to audition for more than one group if you choose to do so. An experienced panel of judges will be available to help you choose the group that best suits them and your style of cheer or dance. All material needed for auditions will be taught on the day of auditions except if noted in the individual group information. Not only will this weekend allow you to compete for one of the coveted spots on one of our spirit groups, it will also be a great time to meet other high school seniors planning to attend NSU and to learn a little more about student life at NSU. Remember that these positions come with scholarships, so students with cheer and dance experiences are encouraged to audition.
