Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology w/Concentration in Substance Abuse

Northwestern State University Psychology department offers the opportunity to earn a Concentration in Substance Abuse and Prevention Specialist. After meeting the academic requirements for the concentration, students can apply to the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals – Office for Addictive Disorder – Addictive Disorders Regulatory Authority for a Counselor-In-Training, Certification or Licensure as an addiction professional.
