New! What’s New in Moodle 3 Workshop Schedule:
Northwestern State University is migrating to a new version of Moodle. This presentation will go over key changes in the newest version of Moodle. Topics includes changes in Assignments, Forums, Quizzes, and the Gradebook.

Electronic Learning will now be issuing digital badges in place of certificates! You will be able to access all of your credentials on Credly, and share them to almost any social media site or portfolio. No more papers, binders, or folders! These badges will be distributed via Credly, and detailed instructions for claiming credentials will be given to workshop participants. If you have any questions, contact us at elearning@nsula.edu.

Introduction to Video
Tuesday, December 5th, 2 – 3 pm
This workshop will provide an introduction to creating video content for your courses, including best practices for getting started. We will also cover using VIC (Video Integrated Content) and Stream, two ways to connect videos with your Moodle shells. VIC is a library that holds all of your videos in one easy-to-use place. If you want to enrich your classes with videos, this workshop is for you!
Measurable Objectives
Wednesday, December 13th, 2 – 3 pm
Clear learning objectives provide a foundation for a quality course. In this interactive workshop, you will revise or create measureable objectives that provide a roadmap for your activities and assessments.
To register for courses via WebEx:
- Go to nsula.webex.com
- Click on “Training Center”
- Click on the “Upcoming” tab
- You will see a list of the sessions with the date and times, click on “Register” next to the one you would like to attend
- Complete the registration
You will receive an email confirmation after you have registered with the link you will use to join the session. To cancel your registration, click the link at the bottom of the registration email.
