Moodle Troubleshooting Class

Ever had a question about how to do something in Moodle but were afraid to ask? Can’t figure how to do something in Moodle? This workshop is here for you. This workshop is for people to bring in questions and curiosities about Moodle and have them answered with detail and demonstration. No outline, nothing planned. Just one hour for you to get those bothering Moodle questions answered.
Introduction to Video
Thursday, April 12th, 2 – 3 pm

This workshop will provide an introduction to creating video content for your courses, including best practices for getting started. We will also cover using VIC (Video Integrated Content) and Stream, two ways to connect videos with your Moodle shells. If you want to enrich your classes with videos, this workshop is for you!
New! Adobe Acrobat Basics
Tuesday, April 17th, 2 – 3 pm
PDF files are very common, and Adobe Acrobat is the program most commonly used to process these files. In this workshop, we will cover basic navigation, tools and accessibility within Adobe Acrobat.
New! Course Overview and Introduction

The Course Overview area is the first part of the course that the students will see, but probably the last thing you will create. In this workshop, we will discuss the items that should be included within a Course Overview area to effectively orient your students in your course. This workshop is part of our Master Course Creator series. In order to earn the related badge for attendance, you will be asked to complete an assignment related to the content.
WebEx Training Center

Learn the basics of participating and hosting a WebEx training session for class meetings. We will also cover how to schedule a training session, and where to access the reports generated by WebEx.
Managing Your Gradebook, Finals Edition
Monday, April 30th, 10 – 11 am

We have reached the end of the semester and you need your gradebook ready for the end. Learn how to make sure your gradebook is calculating your final grades correctly and be able to export a copy when your grades are finished.

1. Go to nsula.webex.com
2. Click on “Training Center”
3. Click on the “Upcoming” tab
4. You will see a list of the sessions with the date and times, click on “Register” next to the one you would like to attend
5. Complete the registration
You will receive an email confirmation after you have registered with the link you will use to join the session. To cancel your registration, click the link at the bottom of the registration email.
