Open Lab: Course Development
Tuesday, December 11th, 1 – 4 pm
Get help with online course design and Moodle during this open lab time. Electronic Learning staff will be available to assist you. Come in for as much or as little of the time as you need. Please email elearning@nsula.edu if you have any questions or to sign up.

Measurable Objectives in an Online Course
Wednesday, December 5th, 2 – 3 pm
Clear learning objectives provide a foundation for a quality course. In this interactive workshop, you will revise or create measureable objectives that provide a roadmap for your activities and assessments.
Managing your Gradebook: Finals Edition
Wednesday, December 5th, 10 – 11 am
Thursday, December 6th, 10 – 11 am
We have reached the end of the semester and you need your gradebook ready for the end. Learn how to make sure your gradebook is calculating your final grades correctly and be able to export a copy when your grades are finished.
Communicating in Moodle
Tuesday, December 11th, 10 – 11 am
In this workshop, we will demonstrate how to use various forms of communication (forums, announcements, and QuickMail) and when to use them. This will help you incorporate student interaction within your courses.
Stream
Thursday, December 6th, 2 – 3 pm
Stream is the new video library system through Office365. In this workshop, we will cover uploading, sharing, and closed captioning through Stream.

To register for courses via WebEx:
1. Go to nsula.webex.com
2. Click on “Training Center”
3. Click on the “Upcoming” tab
4. You will see a list of the sessions with the date and times, click on “Register” next to the one you would like to attend
5. Complete the registration
You will receive an email confirmation after you have registered with the link you will use to join the session. To cancel your registration, click the link at the bottom of the registration email.
