NSU President and First Lady Dr. Chris and Jennifer Maggio stopped by the Spirit of Northwestern Proving Ground during a break in morning rehearsal Friday to pass out popsicles and water to band members preparing for their 2019 debut at the Demons’ first home football game versus Midwestern State Sept. 7.  This year’s Spirit of Northwestern is the largest in school history, fielding 342 members, including 120 freshmen.
