NATCHITOCHES – The Gallaspy College of Education and Human Development at Northwestern State University is offering free Praxis preparations seminars throughout the spring semester. Seminars begin the week of January 27. The invitation to participate is not limited to current NSU students. Each two-hour session will focus on test structure, test taking tips, a review of the content, and study materials.
Sessions will be from 5-6 p.m. either at the Teacher Education Center on the Natchitoches campus or at the NSU Cenla campus in Alexandria.
Topics will include all areas of Praxis Core, reading, writing and mathematics, as well as the Praxis subject assessments of elementary social studies, middle school science, middle school mathematics, and secondary mathematics. Funding for the seminars is through The Orchard Foundation.
