NATCHITOCHES – Information webinar sessions on the All of Us Research Program are set to take place later this week.  The All of Us Research Program is precision medicine research program that examines individuals regarding their health, habits, living conditions and other factors to determine patterns that affect people’s health. This research may help deliver better tests to see if people are sick or at risk of getting sick, better mobile apps to encourage healthy habits and better medicine for individuals.

The information sessions are funded by a grant from the American Association of College of Nursing.  Dr. Donald Johnston, a professor in Northwestern State University’s College of Nursing and School of Allied Health, is principal investigator of the grant and working in partnership with University of Louisiana-Monroe and Louisiana Tech, sister schools in the University of Louisiana System.

The first session will take place from noon-2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28 at the Kitty Degree Nursing Auditorium on the University of Louisiana at Monroe campus and via Zoom at https://tinyurl.com/yx9m74py.  To RSVP, contact Rebecca Clark at (318) 257-2200 or rclark@latech.edu.
