NATCHITOCHES – Three local groups supported Northwestern State University’s Food Pantry through a donation of non-perishable items. PEO BK Chapter, Cane River Readers book club and Faith Joy Sunday school class from First Baptist Church collected and delivered items to the Food Pantry, which provides food, toiletries and other necessities for NSU and BPCC@NSU students free of charge. From left are Katarina Haymon, Regina Pierce and Mary Katherine Horton. The NSU Food Pantry is located on the south side of Trisler Power Plant on NSU’s Central Avenue. Donations are always welcome. Monetary donations are also accepted through the NSU Foundation.
