NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University is looking to match students seeking part-time jobs with local employers who have part-time employment positions. A Part-time Job Fair will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 8 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Friedman Student Union Ballroom.

“We know many of our students are searching for a part-time job to help pay college expenses or gain experience that can lead to a full-time job after graduation, but they are not aware of all the possible openings in our community,” said NSU Job Location and Development Officer Rachel Cunningham. “Many local employers want to hire Northwestern students and this can be a one-stop shop to match employers and employees.”

Participating employers include U.S. Air Force Reserve Recruiting, American Red Cross – Louisiana Region Volunteer Services, Army Healthcare – MidWest/South Region, Cane River National Heritage Area, CommCare Corporation, Fastenal Company- Branch, J. W. Odom &Associates LLC, McDonald’s Messick Natchitoches, Natchitoches Regional Medical Center, Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen, Raising Cane’s and Waskom Brown & Associates.

Students should bring a resume and be prepared for a possible interview.
