Course Overview and Introduction

The Course Overview area is the first part of the course that the students will see, but probably the last thing you will create. In this workshop, we will discuss the items that should be included within a Course Overview area to effectively orient your students in your course. This workshop is part of our Master Course Creator series. In order to earn the related badge for attendance, you will be asked to complete an assignment related to the content.

What’s New in Moodle 3.11

Northwestern State University is migrating to a new version of Moodle. This presentation will go over key changes in the newest version of Moodle. Topics include changes in Course Overview List, Assignments, Forums, and Quizzes.

To register for courses via Webex:

  1. Go to webex.com and sign in.
  2. Click on the Search Bar at the top of the page and enter the name of the session you would like to attend. Click Show More Results to see all listings. You can also search by date.
  3. Click the name of the session you want to attend and then click Register.
  4. Complete the registration.
  5. You will receive an email confirmation after you have registered with the link you will use to join the session.
