NATCHITOCHES – The investiture for Northwestern State University President Dr. Marcus Jones will take place Friday, Aug. 26 in Natchitoches. The event, which formally installs Jones as the university’s 20th president, will include a ceremony at 11 a.m. in A.A. Fredericks Auditorium and a community reception. Surrounding the investiture will be student programs, a breakfast for faculty and staff and other events for the community, alumni, supporters and friends.
Originally schedule for March 2022, the Investiture was postponed to the Fall semester to allow more student participation.
