Graduate Admissions Information and Application
- Complete the online Application for Admission.
- Submit official transcripts of all previous university work to the Graduate School at the address listed below.
- If required by the program to which you are applying, submit official copies of your GRE results. Please pay close attention to GRE score requirements for admission to the Graduate School.
- All graduate degree programs (except for M.S. in Health & Human Performance) require two written letters of recommendation by different references. Submit your letters by email, mail or fax. Please note that some degree programs may require three letters of recommendation.
- Submit a completed Proof of Immunization Form to the Graduate School at the address above. Internet only students select the exemption section for “personal reasons” stating that you are an online learner.
- Apply for a graduate assistantship (optional). Those prospective students who gain regular admission and plan to study in residence are eligible.
- Contact an advisor in your area for questions regarding the program concentrations and graduates in the workforce.
- Once you have been admitted to the Graduate School and to the program area, you may register online.
- You can pay fees on campus in the Cashier’s Office or online.

The Graduate Record Examinations tests are taken by individuals applying to graduate schools. The GRE is available through the Computer-Based Testing (CBT) Program:
- General Test – measures verbal, quantitative, and analytical reasoning skills that have been developed over a long period of time and are not necessarily related to any particular field of study. The General Test is offered in two formats: as a computer-based test and as a paper-based test.

The purpose of the Test of English as a Foreign Language is to evaluate the English proficiency of people whose native language is not English. The test uses a multiple-choice format to measure the ability to understand North American English. The test consists of three sections:
- Listening Comprehension – Measures ability to understand English as it is spoken in North America.
- Structure and Written Expression – Measures ability to recognize language that is appropriate for standard written English.
- Reading Comprehension – Measures ability to understand nontechnical reading matter.
