NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University student Brandon Jordan placed second in the nation in PC Troubleshooting at the annual U.S. Information Technology Collegiate Conference in Plano, Texas.
Jordan, a sophomore computer information systems major in the Louisiana Scholars’ College from Many, placed second out of approximately 90 contestants. He also took and passed the Information Systems Analyst (ISA) exam offered by the Institute for Certification of Computing Professionals (ICCP).
NSU student Joseph Adams, a senior computer information systems major in the Louisiana Scholars’ College from Lindale, Texas, passed the ISA exam as well as the Computer Science Associate (CSA) exam.
This is the first time Northwestern State students have able to compete in the U.S. Information Technology Collegiate Conference in three years due to the pandemic.
