NATCHITOCHES – Mary Anna Scruggs, a senior at Northwestern State University, spoke to students at St. Mary’s High School to kick off the first day of the 2023-24 academic year. Scruggs is a 2020 graduate of St. Mary’s and an active leader on the NSU campus. She shared the story of her journey at NSU and opportunities available to future students. Several students at St. Mary’s are enrolled at NSU as dual enrollment students, taking college classes for college credit.
