NATCHITOCHES – Dr. Patrice Moulton, recently elected to the national board of directors for the Fulbright Association, will participate in Pathways to Global Citizenship, a global youth summit to promote study abroad, hosted by the Fulbright Association Thursday, Oct. 19.  The summit will take place at eth Grand Hyatt in Denver, Colorado, from 1-5:30 p.m. MDT.  Moulton a professor of psychology at Northwestern State University, serves on the Fulbright Association committee that planned the event and will mentor and share information about becoming a global citizen.

High school and college students in the Denver area are expected to attend the summit to learn ways to see the world and job opportunities that await when they return.  Participants can network with Fulbrighters, Peace Corps Volunteers and other global citizens. Registration is free.

The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government. It is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. Moulton has served as president of the Louisiana Fulbright Chapter since 2020.  She will begin a three-year term on the national board in January.
