NATCHITOCHES – Caroline Church, Lauren Bryant and Riya Weber ran a robot through an accuracy trial, a competition in which the device picks up a tennis ball and deposits it in a small container, during Week 2 of Robotics Camp at Northwestern State University. The three were among several middle school students who assembled and programmed robots for tests in speed, accuracy and completing a maze.  Robotics Camp was hosted by NSU’s Department of Engineering Technology and sponsored by the A+ Coalition and the STEM Pioneers Organizations.  Information on NSU’s Department of Engineering Technology is available at https://www.nsula.edu/engrtech/.
