Louisiana Scholars’ College Research and Creative Projects Awards

Entry must be a research or creative project. An award will be given in each category.

Examples of research projects: research paper, creative non-fiction, journalistic essay, etc.

Examples of creative projects: short story, play, poem, painting, photograph, musical composition, etc.

Entrants must be Louisiana high school students in their junior or senior year.

Entry must be the wholly original work of entrant.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards will be made. Awards will be presented at the spring Scholars’ Day, March 1, 2025 in Natchitoches.

Awards and prizes will be given in both the research and creative categories: 1st ($100), 2nd ($75), and 3rd ($50) Place.

Organizers reserve the right not to make an award in any or all categories and places if they feel the quality of the submissions does not warrant every award.

Submission Open: November 15, 2024

Submission Deadline: January 10, 2025
