Excellence in School Culture
Kristen Walker, academic coordinator/instructor was winner of the Excellence in School Culture Award. This award is presented to the faculty or staff member with a positive attitude who consistently models professional dispositions and who works with the faculty, staff and students of the School of Education to encourage a Community of Caring. Excellence in Recruiting and Retention
Dr. Christy Hornsby, Assistant Professor& Coordinator, Doctoral Program, Adult Learning and Development, was named winner of the Excellence in Recruiting and Retention Award, presented to a faculty or staff member who has gone above and beyond in the areas of recruitment and/or retention. Excellence in Inclusion
Professor Jodi Shirley was named winner of the Excellence in Inclusion Award, which recognizes a faculty or staff member who has shown great empathy for students from all backgrounds and ability levels. Dr. Dylan Solice was winner of the Excellence in Service Award, presented to the faculty or staff member who has gone above and beyond in the areas of university service, professional service, community service and/or service learning.
