NATCHITOCHES – Martha Hopewell of Alexandria is the 2023 recipient of the Cane River Golden Sisters Scholarship, presented by the Natchitoches philanthropic organization to a female graduate student at Northwestern State University.  Hopewell earned an undergraduate degree in early childhood education at NSU and is pursuing a master’s degree in the School of Education.
