NATCHITOCHES – The Department of Music in the Dear School of Creative and Performing Arts at Northwestern State University will present its annual Faculty Showcase on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. Admission is free and open to the public. A livestream will be available at capa.nsula.edu/livestream.
The concert will feature 16 short performances by different NSU Music Faculty, including performances on piano, saxophone, viola, violin, cello, voice, flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, snare drum and a brass faculty ensemble. Works will range from modern compositions to classical standards to musical theatre.
