NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Gallaspy College of Education and Human Development hosted an Apple Pinning ceremony for teacher candidates March 6. The pinning is a milestone in each student’s academic journey to becoming an educator, marking the transition from traditional student to pre-service teacher and honoring their commitment to the teaching profession. Family, friends, faculty and classmates joined the celebration.
