Faculty in NSU’s School of STEM have formed an Artificial Intelligence Club that meets on Wednesdays from 3:30-5 p.m. in Fournet Hall Room 123 to explore mathematics, algorithms and the latest advancements in the field. At a recent meeting, Dr. Xinjia Chen and Dr. Nabin Sapkota, Engineering Technology; Dr. Damien Tristant, Physics, and Juanita Self, Mathematics, went through an exercise with Dr. Nicholas Richardson, Mathematics, showing how machines learn, AI algorithms and how to use them in research.
