Aubree Rachal learned programming and mobile control of a robot during Astro STEM Robotics camp that took place at Northwestern State University June 5-9.  With devices synced to their smart phones, students learned programming, obstacle avoidance and other tasks that concluded with challenge competitions. As part of the camp, students also toured NSU’s science labs and learned about academic opportunities in science, technology, engineering and math.  The camp was hosted free of charge by NSU’s Department of Engineering Technology.
