Swing dance class Feb. 29

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Dance Organization of Students will host a swing dance workshop from 5-6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 29 in A.A. Fredericks Auditorium.

 

Admission is $5 per person.  Proceeds will support NSU dance students who plan to attend the American College Dance Association’s annual conference at Florida State University.

Educators Rising conference brings future teachers to NSU

NATCHITOCHES – More than 350 high school students interested in pursuing careers in education attended the Educator’s Rising Louisiana Conference at Northwestern State University Wednesday. Participants heard from speakers, participated in workshops and competitions and browsed vendors to learn about topics that addressed anti-bullying, using technology, awareness of social issues and degree programs at NSU.
