Greek Centennial postponed to April 2022

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Greek Centennial Celebration, which was scheduled to take place in conjunction with Homecoming festivities Oct 21-22, has been postponed to April 8-9, 2022.  The new date coincides with Flavor of Louisiana, NSU’s popular spring seafood extravaganza.

All other Homecoming events will take place as scheduled.

NATCHITOCHES – Administrators at Northwestern State University are monitoring weather conditions as Tropical Storm Nicholas moves into southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana.  The storm is expected to spread the threat of flooding across Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi over the next couple of days after making landfall as a Category 1 hurricane overnight Monday.
