Northwestern State has second highest enrollment in school history

NATCHITOCHES—Enrollment at Northwestern State this fall of 10,900 is the second highest in the university’s 135-year history. Student registration is down slightly from last year’s record enrollment of 11,081.

Northwestern’s enrollment has increased by 21 percent over the past five years at a time when college and university enrollment nationwide has declined for seven consecutive years.

Pick Up Your Brush Painting class to be taught Sept, 12,19

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic and Continuing Education will offer a Pick Up Your Brush painting class on Thursday, Sept. 12 and 19 in South Hall.

NSU to close Monday for Labor Day

NATCHITOCHES – All campuses of Northwestern State University will be closed Monday, Sept. 2 for the Labor Day holiday.

The campus will reopen and classes will resume Tuesday, Sept. 3.

Classical instrument recital to be held Sept. 11

University announces 2019-20 tenure, promotion list
