Experience tells us that living on campus helps students succeed in college and maximizes opportunities for involvement and personal development. Students who live in communities gain leadership skills, experience personal growth, and make lifelong connections.
- All students are required to live on campus to the extent that housing is available. This is a University of Louisiana System and NSU Policy.
- Students must obtain a housing lease or an approved exemption. This exemption can be picked up in the One Card Office on the third floor of the Student Services Center. The form is also available online at the link below.
- Leases for campus housing are for one academic year. The academic year runs from August to May. Please be aware that the lease you will be signing is for TWO semesters.
- Students may request to live off campus by completing the exemption form http://onecard.nsula.edu/assets/forms/Revised-Off-Campus-Form-Rev-3-2015.pdf
