NATCHITOCHES – The Cane River Singers held a joint rehearsal with the Centenary College choir Monday evening led by Shreveport Symphony conductor Michael Butterman to prepare for Saturday’s performance of Beethoven’s “Ninth Symphony” with the Shreveport Symphony. The performance will be at 7:30 p.m. at the Shreveport Riverview. The choirs will be joined by tenor and Louisiana native Paul Groves, soprano Sarah Rees, Grammy-Award winning mezzo-soprano Michelle DeYoung, bass-baritone Dennis Jesse, the FUMCS Chamber Choir and Prísma Vocal Ensemble.
