NATCHITOCHES – Sarah Burkhalter, job location and development officer with the NSU Career Center, gave a tour of the Career Center’s new location for students Mariah Kador of Oscar and Blake Chustz of Ventress Thursday. In addition to a tour of the new suite and refreshments, students were eligible to win prizes for stopping by the new location on the bottom floor of the Student Union, Room 156. Burkhalter and Career Services Coordinator Rachel Cunningham said the new location is more visible and convenient for students who utilize the center for services offered there. Earlier this week, the Career Center hosted a highly successful Career Fair. A Teacher Job Fair is planned for March 8 and a Graduate School Fair will take place March 16. In addition to hosting career and part-time job fairs, the Center helps students with resumes, job searches, interview skills and preparation for post-baccalaureate education.
