Colombian student named Phi Beta Delta scholarship recipient

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Eta Mu Chapter of Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars named Juanita Marin-Tabarez as the third recipient of the Phi Beta Delta Scholarship Award. Marin-Tabarez is from Pereira, Colombia, and is pursuing a dual business administration degree in NSU’s School of Business and Universidad Libre in Colombia.

NSU announces Spring 2022 Honor List

NATCHITOCHES – Six hundred sixteen undergraduate students at Northwestern State University were listed on the Spring 2022 Honor List.  Students on the Honor List must be enrolled full-time at Northwestern and have a grade point average of between 3.0 and 3.49.

NATCHITOCHES – Eight hundred two undergraduate students were named to the Spring 2022 Dean’s List at Northwestern State university. Students on the Dean’s List must be enrolled full time and earn a grade point average of between 3.5 and 3.99.

NATCHITOCHES –   Five hundred and forty-two students were named to the Spring 2022 President’s List at Northwestern State University. Students on the list earned a grade point average of 4.0. Notary class to begin June 16

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic and Continuing Education will offer a Notary Public Exam Prep Course starting June 16. Class time is 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday until Sept. 22. The early bird fee is $430 until June 10 and $450 after that date.

NATCHITOCHES – The 42nd annual Natchitoches-NSU Folk Festival will be held on Saturday July 23 in air-conditioned Prather Coliseum, 220 South Jefferson Street on the campus of Northwestern State University in Natchitoches.
