Fall Graduate Career Fair to be held Sept. 28

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University will hold its Fall Graduate Career Fair Tuesday, September 28 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Friedman Student Union Ballroom.

Students attending must dress professionally and bring a resume to meet with employers.

Online phlebotomy technician training course to begin Sept. 27

NATCHITOCHES – An online phlebotomy technician training course through Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic Learning & Global Engagement will begin in Alexandria on Monday, September 27.

NSU Theatre and Dance to perform “The Rocky Horror Show” Sept. 22-25

NATCHITOCHES – NSU Theatre and Dance will present “The Rocky Horror Show” September 22-25 in the A.A. Fredericks Auditorium. Performance times are 7:30 p.m. each evening with a 2 p.m. matinee on September 25.

Greek Centennial postponed to April 2022

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Greek Centennial Celebration, which was scheduled to take place in conjunction with Homecoming festivities Oct 21-22, has been postponed to April 8-9, 2022.  The new date coincides with Flavor of Louisiana, NSU’s popular spring seafood extravaganza.

NATCHITOCHES – Administrators at Northwestern State University are monitoring weather conditions as Tropical Storm Nicholas moves into southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana.  The storm is expected to spread the threat of flooding across Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi over the next couple of days after making landfall as a Category 1 hurricane overnight Monday.
