Line dance class to begin Sept. 17

NATCHITOCHES – A line dancing class will be offered by Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic and Continuing Education starting Tuesday, Sept. 17. The class will be taught on Tuesdays from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. through Oct. 29 in Room 127 of the Health and Human Performance Building. The fee is $65.

Donors announce FAUNA Vet Tech Scholarship

NATCHITOCHES – Cammie Henry visited Northwestern State University’s Department of Veterinary Technology Sept. 4 to deliver a contribution and announce the Friends All United for Natchitoches Animals (FAUNA) Vet Tech Scholarship Fund. FAUNA is a Natchitoches-based animal advocacy and rescue group that has worked with NSU’s Vet Tech program for about 15 years.
