Seed Survivor classroom on wheels visits Elementary Lab

NATCHITOCHES – Seed Survivor, a plant nutrient classroom on wheels, visited the Northwestern State University Elementary Lab School Feb. 14.  Seed Survivor is a free, curriculum-based learning experience that encourages children in elementary school to learn about the elements that plants need to grow.

Line Dance class to begin Feb. 25

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic Learning & Global Engagement will offer a Line Dance class starting Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 5:30 p.m. in Room 127 of the Health and Human Performance Building. The class will be held each Tuesday through March 31. The fee is $65.

NSU Jazz Orchestra to present Latin Jazz concert Feb. 19

NATCHITOCHES – The Northwestern State University Jazz Orchestra will present an evening of Latin Jazz on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. Admission is free and open the public. NSU Associate Professor of Trumpet Galindo Rodriguez will conduct the orchestra.
