NSU to offer Notary Public Exam Prep Course

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic and Continuing Education will offer a Notary Public Exam Prep Course starting Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024. Class time is 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday until May 23. The early bird fee is $430 until Feb. 21 and $450 after that date.

Donnie Bickham Middle School takes first place in Robotics Competition

NATCHITOCHES – A team from Donnie Bickham Middle School in Shreveport won this year’s Fall Robotics Competition, an annual event hosted by Northwestern State University’s Department of Engineering Technology.  Caddo Middle Magnet won second place and North DeSoto Middle won third.  Stephanie Mason, team sponsor from North DeSoto, was named STEM Teacher of the Year.
