Exhibit of art collected by faculty, administrators will open Monday

Engineering Technology Symposium showcases STEM careers for high school students

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Department of Engineering Technology welcome about 70 high school students from around the area to the fifth annual Engineering Technology Symposium where they discussed STEM (science, technology, engineering & mathematics) careers, introduced students to industry partners and discussed skills necessary to pursue lucrative careers in high tech manufacturing.

Phil Kidd Scenic Studio to be dedicated Oct. 29

NATCHITOCHES – The dedication of the Phil Kidd Scenic Studio at Northwestern State University will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. on the A.A. Fredericks Auditorium Stage and area leading to the studio. The ceremony is open to the public.
