The Creole Heritage Center at Northwestern State University collected non-perishable food items and toiletries for the NSU Food Pantry during the last weeks of the fall semester. Students, faculty and staff donated breakfast foods, soups, snacks and other items to be distributed to students in need. From left are Loletta Wynder, CHC director, and Dr. Denise Bailey, professor of social work, who oversees the pantry. Bailey will host a training workshop for Food Pantry volunteers next week and announce Spring 2020 operating hours soon.
