Northwestern State University College of Nursing is preparing for an accreditation review of its BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing), MSN (Master of Science in Nursing), Post Master’s Certificate (PMC), and DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) programs by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) on September 14-16.
During CCNE’s review of these programs, the evaluation team will consider any third-party comments related to the standards of accreditation. At no time during the review process are the third-party comments shared with the program, the Accreditation Review Committee, or the Board.
As a College of Nursing constituent, CCNE requires that we notify you of the opportunity to submit written comments about any of the nursing programs under review.
All third-party comments must be submitted to CCNE (not NSU).
Comments submitted to CCNE must be written in English, consistent with CCNE’s policy of Conduct of Business in English and submitted by August 24, 2020 to thirdpartycomments@ccneaccreditation.org
