Several students from Northwestern State University’s Department of New Media, Journalism and Communication Arts received their official KTBS-3 press badges and caps and were recognized for their contributions to Friday night football coverage. KTBS is the Shreveport ABC affiliate that covers high school gridiron matchups across the Ark-La-Tex. The student journalists put into practice what they learn in the classroom as they prepared to cover the Natchitoches Central High School homecoming game against Southwood Friday and were congratulated by faculty and administrators.
