President and First Lady Chris and Jennifer Maggio, along with the NSU Recruiting Team, hosted a luncheon for area school counselors Friday at the President’s Residence where they shared information about new and emerging programs, alumni accomplishments and scholarship opportunities.  Counselors from Natchitoches, Winn, Sabine, Vernon, Grant and Red River parishes attended.  Students from the School of Creative and Performing Arts entertained the group.  Recruiters have been traveling around the state hosting lunches in New Orleans, Covington, Lafayette, Shreveport and Monroe to help counselors stay informed of what Northwestern has to offer as students begin exploring college options.
