During this year’s Summit, students will be able to interact with professionals in the UN, learn valuable advocacy skills, and share their passion for international issues.
By connecting your students with the United Nations Association-USA and the UN Foundation, they will gain access to resources, professional networks and the opportunity to attend additional conferences and summits across the country.

CHRISTUS Cabrini Hospice: A good opportunity to get some internship/volunteer hours related to psychology!
“You only die on one day. Every other day is about LIVING.” So often the public assumes that hospice is about dying, when it actually is about living well. Did you know that CHRISTUS Cabrini Hospice is the only faith based, not-for-profit Hospice in Alexandria? One of the integral services we provide is our Hospice Volunteer Program and we are always in need of volunteers, so we are looking for loving individuals interested in helping patients and their families at the end of life and those whom would enjoy clerical duties behind the scenes.
“Christ has no body on earth but yours; no hands, no feet on earth but yours. …. Yours are the hands with which He blessed all the world.” – St. Theresa of Avila
Our in-patient Hospice Grace Home is right within Cabrini Hospital, while we also serve individuals living in the community. The hours are flexible and training is provided. I would love speaking with you further about our opportunities; please contact me, Hollie Sanders, Volunteer and Bereavement Coordinator at (318) 448-6764 ext. 6099 or hollie.sanders@christushealth.org. Thank you for your giving heart. God Bless.
