Bruce Dyjack, coordinator of Postal Services at Northwestern State University, prepared to mail over 1,300 diplomas to spring 2020 graduates this week. Dyjack said about half were set to be mailed Wednesday and the other half Thursday. NSU honored Spring 2020 graduates with a virtual commencement ceremony May 8 and has scheduled a traditional graduation ceremony for Aug. 8. The university will begin a phased reopening May 18 and is making plans for face-to-face classes this fall.
