NATCHITOCHES – Two sessions of a driver education course will be offered through Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic Learning & Global Engagement in June and July.
The first session will be taught on June 3-6. The deadline to register is May 17. A mandatory parent meeting will be on May 21 at 6 p.m. in South Hall on the NSU campus. The second session will be held on July 8-11. The deadline to register is June 21. A mandatory parent meeting will be on June 25 at 6 p.m. in South Hall on the NSU campus.
This course will consist of 30 hours of classroom instruction and at least 8 hours of practice driving (behind-the-wheel instruction). Participants will receive a certificate verifying successful completion of the course. Proof of age must be supplied for those taking the course. They must be 15 years old on or before April 2 to be eligible to enroll in this class.
