Master of Arts in English

The online MA in English is a 30 hour program (24 hours of coursework plus 6 for the Degree Completion Option).  After coursework, students will write a thesis OR produce 2 papers-in-lieu of thesis and take an additional elective course.

Students select one of the following concentrations:

  3. Folklife/Southern Culture (529C)
  4. Generalist (529D)
  5. Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) (529E)
