NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University honored outstanding faculty with Excellence in Teaching Awards. NSU’s Excellence in Teaching Awards are sponsored by the NSU Alumni Association to recognize faculty for tireless devotion to the field of teaching and Northwestern students. Recognized were, from left Nicole Lobdell, assistant professor of English in the Louisiana Scholars’ College; Dr. Chialing Hsieh, associate professor of collaborative piano in the School of Creative and Performing Arts; Tamara Baxter, assistant professor and Natchitoches campus coordinator in the College of Nursing; Jennifer Evans, assistant professor and ultrasound program coordinator in the School of Allied Health; Anna Upshaw, instructor in the School of Business, and Carrie Maggio, instructor in the Department of Mathematics. Not pictured is Maj. Joseph K Davis, assistant professor in the Department of Military Science.
