NATCHITOCHES – The School of Creative and Performing Arts at Northwestern State University will present its annual Faculty Showcase on Tuesday, Sept. 17.
The Faculty Art Exhibition will be in Hanchey Gallery beginning at 6:30 p.m. Members of the art faculty will be available for questions and discussion.
The music recital will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. It will feature 12 short performances by NSU music faculty, including performances on flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, violin, cello, horn, timpani and voice. Works will range from modern compositions to operatic standards, to performances on classical period instruments.
Admission to the exhibition and recital is free and open to the public.
