NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Wellness, Recreation and Activities Center will host Fun and Fitness Summer Day Camp with three sessions in July. Sessions will be July 5-9, July 12-16 and July 19-23. Hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. for each five-day session for children ages 5-12.
The early bird fee is $125 per week per camper, which includes a $25 refundable deposit for each week, before June 19. After the June 19, the cost will be $150 per week. There will be a limited number of campers and registration is on a first come first served basis. Early registration is encouraged.
Drop-off will begin at 8 a.m. and pick-up can be arranged for up to 5 p.m. Campers must bring their own lunch. The camp will provide an afternoon snack.
Campers will be engaged in a variety of activities that include aerobics, sports, arts and crafts and more. Campers must have tennis shoes and play clothes that may get stained or torn during physical activities or crafts. Sunscreen and hats are also recommended.
