In the ever-evolving field of healthcare, telehealth has emerged as a vital tool for delivering services. This presentation, led by experienced clinical social workers, will explore practical approaches to patient engagement and rapport building in telehealth settings. Attendees will learn techniques to enhance communication, build trust and ensure patient-centered care by utilizing social work skills ultimately improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.
The program is targeted to both student, faculty and professional nurses, social workers and others interested in telehealth. The program is one hour long. Participants should bring their own lunch.

Northwestern State University’s Nursing Continuing Education is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
