NATCHITOCHES – Galindo Rodriguez, associate professor of music at Northwestern State University, recently presented five days of intensive master classes to the trumpet section from Natchitoches Central High School. Students were introduced and coached in ensemble techniques, performance fundamentals and advanced trumpet techniques for improving reading, high range and endurance along with individual instruction.
