NATCHITOCHES – Music faculty in the Dear School of Creative and Performing Arts at Northwestern State University will present their annual recital on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. The performance will be a virtual event with no audience and can be viewed at capa.nsula.edu/livestream.
The recital will feature 14 short pieces by different NSU music faculty, including performances on flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, piano, cello, horn, bass, euphonium, percussion and voice. The show will include live performances mixed with pre-recorded performance. Works will range from modern compositions to operatic standards, to performances on classical period instruments.
